What A Dental Crown Involves
It usually only takes just two appointments to fit your crown.
During your first appointment we focus our work on the tooth and any existing filling it may have, so that we can get the best fit for your new crown. We take an impression and make a ‘cast’ which is used to make the crown.
You don’t have to worry about having a gap while your crown is being made, because in this first appointment we make and fit a temporary crown to protect your tooth.
And then, when the permanent crown is ready, at a second appointment we will check its colour, shape and fit. If these are just right your crown is cemented into place.
